Use Case Analyst Lead
Project Summary:
The CORE Ops Testing – Phase II project involves CGI playing an integral part of testing for the CORE Ops program for one of their largest clients. The program consists of multiple years of development to improve overall claims processing throughput and improve centralization of data (member, provider, etc.) therefore reducing the overall cost to claims processing. CGI’s role in the CORE Ops program is to manage all testing activities for all CORE Ops work streams for each release.
Project description (roles and responsibilities):
CORE Use Case Analyst
The Use Case Analyst is responsible for coordination with the Business Analysts and Systems Analysts for the CORE Program who are developing Business Requirements and Use Cases. The Use Case Analyst represents the Quality Assurance (Testing) Team, ensuring that requirements and use cases are well written, complete, testable, and have proper traceability. For this phase of the engagement, the Use Case Analyst will assist the requirements team through coaching and mentoring, as well as participation in reviewing and revising requirements and use cases so they are suitable for use by the QA Team.
QA/BA experience. Definition of business requirements and use cases; development of test cases and scenarios from use cases; traceability of test requirements through high level business requirements and execution of test cases through all SDLC phases.
Strong sense of urgency; ability to review facts and escalate issues with recommendations and contingencies to Project Manager.
Ability to management risks/issues effectively.
Possess the ability to identify resource needs and independently manage resources to accomplish objectives.
Ability to define the testing requirements for large scale strategic, highly integrated projects and be held accountable to communicate project objectives clearly to all involved stakeholders, including project managers, business sponsors and senior leaders.
Ability to influence quality of project delivery based on test approach and application of specialized testing techniques (usability, automation, performance, etc.).
Thorough understanding of QA/testing principles/practices and SDLC.
Experience with testing complex integrated applications.
Experience in working within active project development life cycles (from requirements phase through implementation), including use of requirements traceability matrix that connects with project test strategy.
