5+ years experience in the planning, design and implementation of complex networks
as part of a large enterprise network team, or within the professional services or network
integration environments.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
• Thorough understanding of internetworking technologies and how technologies are
deployed in complex, global networks.
• WAN Expertise – Transport and Access Planning, Design and Deployment Experience
o Experience in analysis and selection of transport and access technologies
including; Frame Relay, ATM, Ethernet, Internet VPN, Sonet/SDH & DWDM, and
wireless.
o MPLS Integration including MPLS equipment & transport selection, QoS, MPLS
IP Routing and MPLS migration planning/transition
• LAN Expertise – Planning, Design and Deployment Experience
o Experience in equipment selection, sizing and detailed engineered design
o Data center expertise including core, distribution and segmentation
o Wireless equipment selection, sizing and detailed engineered design
o Layer 2 vs Layer 3 segmentation
o Virtualization using path segmentation (GRE, VRF-Lite, L3VPN’s, L2VPN’s)
• IP Routing – Planning, Design & Deployment Experience
o IP Routing Protocols – OSPF, BGP, M-BGP, EIGRP capabilities and
corresponding configurations.
o IP Addressing – NAT, DNS/DHCP, Address Summarization as it impacts IP
addressing and IP routing.
• Network Equipment – Strong knowledge of features, functionality and configurations for
Cisco Systems, Nortel, Juniper, Extreme Networks, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Bachelors degree
Industry Certifications CCIE or proven equivalent experience
Very strong leadership, documentation, project management skills.
Ability to lead, coordinate, complex networking engagements in very large environments.
Ability to travel for engagement requirements.

Role Overview
Engage in key engagements and lead teams in the delivery of AT&T Consulting UC service portfolio
Ability to manage and exceed client expectations for delivery including facilitated meetings, whiteboard sessions, presentations, deliverables and weekly communications with client and engagement managers on status and health of the projects. Strong business acumen and strategic customer interaction, including workshops and Strategy and Roadmap deliverables is key.
Deliver and lead strategy, readiness and other assessments, architecture and complex multi-vendor integration services.
Support Unified Communications Practice initiatives as a collaborative team. Foster the development of standardized templates and Knowledge Management artifacts to improve field self-sufficiency.
Education and Certifications
Hands-on experience in UC on large, complex, and multi-vendor environments.
15+ years industry experience and 5 years experience in Microsoft Technologies Consulting.
Strategic IT Consulting experience.
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent.
Industry certifications applicable to UC.
Microsoft UC Voice Specialization
Microsoft Certified Master and/or Microsoft Certified Architect (desired)
Business and Technical Skills
Microsoft OCS R2 and Lync 2010 architecture, design and deployment expertise
Participate in Voice Partner Program, TAP and other Microsoft Programs
OCS R2/Lync 2010 Architecture, Design and Integration experience
Multi-vendor integration with:
TDM to IP based voice solutions, including Cisco, Avaya, Siemens
Conferencing Solutions such as Tandberg and Polycom
Voice and messaging integration with Microsoft OCS and Lync

Conduct customer needs research, product research and competitive research in wireless applications in order to stay abreast of technical information and relate them to Panduit opportunities
·Collaborate with product management and business groups to accomplish the following:
- Identify, define and quantify customer wireless needs and technology/ product gaps
- Map probable development paths and develop technical solutions
- Create product requirements, specifications and technical documentation for development
- Create accurate project schedules and manage to them to achieve the identified milestones and target completion dates
·Engage in the development of products from concept through final product market availability through a stage-gate development process:
- Explore and evaluate wireless technologies and future systems applications to identify new product opportunities
- Perform measurements and benchmark analysis on components, prototypes and existing products to determine design requirements
- Determine product performance in the intended customer application (e.g., Facility Enterprise and Data Centers, etc.)
- Conduct laboratory and CAD modeling of key product concepts in support of performance parameters
- Design, build and troubleshoot prototypes/ concept models to demonstrate proof-of-principle and ensure compliance with product specifications and customer requirements
- Develop and/or improve test methods for prototype, component or product evaluations
- Document test results in written reports and presentations
- Participate in product development processes and manufacturing processes
·Work with Legal department and departmental Patent Manager on all designs as well as reviewing external competitive patents
·Participate in wireless related industry communities to (a) gain valuable market information for product development opportunities, (b) define new standards and (c) keep the Company advised of pertinent technological developments
·Create technical papers and support marketing product material
·Actively attend trade shows, seminars, standards meetings and directly interface with customers
Plus:
·MSEE or MSCE required; CCNA Wireless Certification strongly preferred
· 10+ years of technical experience in wireless networks with proven ability to research and develop products involving WiFi (i.e., 802.11 a/b/g/n), RFID based sensors, in-building cellular, in-building first responder radio, and industrial wireless technologies (e.g., Zigbee)
·Strong understanding of the overall topology and design of enterprises, datacenters and industrial applications that drives customer need
