Environmental Compliance Manager
  
  
Job Summary
The Environmental Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing strategic plans in support Cushman & Wakefield’s requirements and obligations and is the Single Point of Contact with the client’s organization. The individual will be responsible for implementing a program that delivers services on a regional basis to support best in class integrated service delivery.


The Manager is to ensure compliance with C&W and client environmental procedures and practices, legal requirements, satisfy stakeholder needs and provide support and specialist advice to the Regional C&W team.
Manager must be hands on, highly motivated, team-orientated, and require minimal supervision. Implementation experience in ISO 14001 Environmental Management System is required.

  
Principal Responsibilities
·         Utilize Client’s system of record for tracking environmental risk and compliance performance for Property and Facility Management and Project Management Services
·         Manage the day-to-day client relationship; BAC environmental platform owners.
o        Attend weekly one-on-one update and strategy calls with client Environmental Team
o        Attend weekly team calls with regional FP leads and client Environmental Team
·         Work with client Environmental Team to develop tactical goals and strategic objectives including Hoshin goals and strategic plan for environmental platform.
·         Develop, initiate, and maintain programs to include:
o                    Air Emissions
o                    Hazardous materials
o                    Hazardous wastes
o                    Solid waste
o                    Water quality
o                    Indoor Air quality
o                    Greenhouse gas & carbon emissions
o                    Emergency contingency plans

·         Minimize environmental health and safety notices of violations and fines, and ensure the tracking and reporting of such occurrences.

We are currently seeking a Mobile Facility Engineer. As an HVAC/R Service Technician, this position performs various skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the installation, repair, maintenance and operation of mechanical, electrical, and environmental controls and life safety systems. The candidate will apply specialized knowledge and expertise across many different disciplines and ensures an efficient and safe working environment. The Technician will receive day-to-day work assignments from an Operations Manager, who may be a Company employee.

This position is located in the Jacksonville or Gainesville area and requires working out of a home office location. A company vehicle is provided for business purposes with this position.

MOBILE FACILITY ENGINEER - Jacksonville or Gainesville, FL

Responsibilities:

Each Engineer must be able to independently plan work assignments, perform duties with a minimum of direct supervision, and assist as a helper in other trades and in the general maintenance and operation of buildings and grounds.
In the absence of a supervisor, one of the tradesmen shall be capable of acting as the working foremen or lead man.
All positions will be required to work various shifts, exact schedule will be determined locally.
Install, maintain, operate and repair mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
Ensure proper operation of systems in compliance with required regulations and codes.
Test, maintain and evaluate equipment by using instrumentation.
Test and calibrate electronic HVAC and building environmental controls to ensure that equipment is functioning properly.
Perform, as required, skilled maintenance activities to include but not limited to construction, welding, soldering and plumbing.
Inspect and repair pumps, fans, valves and motors ensuring proper operation of the facility equipment and systems.
Perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with established work standards.
Capable of performing duties as a stationary facility engineer in a large facility and/or mobile facility engineer responsible for several facilities located in a designated geographic area.
Comply with all Company policies and procedures and adhere to Company standards of business ethics and conduct.
Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment.
Is willing to perform other duties as reasonably assigned and appropriate for the skill set.
